There are some interiors where colors made us sigh in awe. It's not so easy to find a perfect color combination of some many colors that we usually have mixed in our homes. Black-and-white interiors look good, but it's the easiest way. And what if we like it colorful?
Similar color issues have always had the painters when deciding what colors to pick for their works. Great painters have the amazing ability to perfectly match colors in the way that inspire us sometimes already for hundreds of years. So why don't we take advantage of what they've already found out?
Below you have a few inspiring color palettes I created from some of my favourite paintings. What I like most is though is "The starry night" of Van Gogh (I've seen it in NYC, it's amazing!) - different shades of blue with yellow accents - and Tamara Łempicka's "Tamara in green Bugatti", the icon of the roaring twenties in Paris- the greens and greys are just beautiful here
So the next time you have any color dilemma - just open an art album and search for the colors combinations! If you like vivid colors, surely go for XXth century art :-)
